On the second level over the former bowling alley is a room-sized diorama of Canton-Collinsville, circa 1900,with the two railroad systems as they operated in the era. The two HO gauge trainlines, the 1850 Canal Railroad and the 1871 C.N.E. Railroad, were modeled by the Farmington Valley Railway Society.

The two railroad lines serving this community were - the Collinsville branch of the Canal Line of the New Haven Railroad and the Central New England Railroad. The New Haven line passed right by the Museum building (where the hiking and biking trail now is), crossed the river on the pilings still to be seen there and went on to New Hartford, where there was a turntable so they could reverse direction. The Central New England (formerly Connecticut and Western) came from Hartford Ct. via Tariffville and Simsbury to the Farmington River in Canton, where it backed down to the station in Collinsville. It then proceeded west through Winsted, Norfolk and Canaan, Ct. to New York State.
