Grant Received - January 2018

The Canton Historical Society is pleased to be the recipient of a grant from the Conservation Connection for a free visit from a traveling Archivist.  We will now have information on our archives on-line through Western Connecticut State University. 


Canton Historical Society Receives Grant from 1772 Foundation

The Canton Historical Society has received a $6,000 grant from the 1772 Preservation Foundation.  The grant will go towards painting and repair of the outside of the building.  We received the grant in May 2018.  Our appreciation and thanks to the 1772 Foundation. 

Grant Received - November 2017

The Canton Historical Society is pleased to be the recipient of a grant from the Hartford Foundation For Public Giving in the amount of $10,000 over a two year period.  This grant will go towards additional programs at the museum and building emergencies.  Thank you Hartford Foundation For Public Giving.
